0xBASE INTEL BRIEF
  • Significant reduction in effusion and swelling with electrostimulation
  • Improved pain control in the intervention group
  • Electrostimation as a safe and effective adjunctive therapy after ACLR

"A randomized controlled trial investigated the effects of electrostimulation on effusion, swelling, and pain recovery after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. The electrostimulation group showed significantly reduced effusion and swelling, and better pain control compared to standard rehabilitation alone. Results support electrostimulation as a beneficial adjunct in post-ACLR rehabilitation."
