"The SmartBack study investigated the effect of a remotely-delivered, personalized education intervention for patients with chronic low back pain. 80 participants were randomized to an intervention or control group. The intervention included personalized videos and exercises delivered via an app. At 12 weeks, the intervention group showed significant improvements in pain intensity and functional disability. The results suggest that personalized remote education can be an effective adjunct to standard care."
