"A recent scoping review examined how injury prevention interventions are implemented in female/woman/girl athletes and what factors affect their use. Despite evidence that such interventions reduce injury risk, uptake in routine practice remains low. The review identified key barriers and facilitators to implementation, including coach education, resource availability, and organizational support. It highlights the need for tailored dissemination strategies to improve adoption and sustainment of prevention programs in women's sport. The findings underscore the gap between evidence and practice, calling for implementation science approaches to bridge this divide."
